Fondazione Sistema Toscana

Fondazione Sistema Toscana is a non-profit participatory institution, created in 2005 by Regione Toscana and Monte dei Paschi to promote the Tuscan territorial system with advanced integrated multimedia communication tools. Since 2010, having merged with Mediateca Regionale Toscana, it develops and supports activities in the cinematographic and audiovisual field, carries out film commission activities, promotes the diffusion of cinema and audiovisuals and elaborates educational and training projects.

Cinema La Compagnia

Since 2016, Cinema La Compagnia, the space in the centre of Florence established and managed by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, has been the House of Cinema and Festivals in Tuscany and is also a "home" for International Festivals. Starting with the two annual appointments, “50 Giorni di Cinema Internazionale a Firenze” and “Primavera di Cinema Orientale”, many festivals and cultural initiatives meet their audiences at La Compagnia.

China Film Association

The China Film Association is an organisation headed by the "China Federation of Literary and Art Circles": it comprises filmmakers from all ethnic groups of the country and coordinates relations between State institutions and the film industry. It organises annually the “China Golden Rooster” and the “Hundred Flowers Film Festival”, a great 5-day event where the Golden Rooster Awards and the Hundred Flowers Awards are given out. It also publishes influential film magazines such as "Film Art", "World Film", "China Film Yearbook", "Popular Cinema magazine", etc., that are widely circulated in different sectors.
